BH VT Turd fly

This versatile fly doesn't imitate any one particular insect, however it has all the buggy characteristics that fish are looking for. Thin rubber legs flail around giving life to a well executed dead drift.  This fly is good all season but particularly early and late probably due to the fact there isn't much in the water for fish to eat at those times. Larger is better so size #6-10 are killer.  Black/coffee and black/olive are the color combinations that seem to be more appealing.
