Interior I, framed, 48"x48"x6"

48" H x 48" W x 6"  ©2000 Brent Holland Mixed Media including wall paper on canvas with resin Collage was an explorative medium for me between 1998-2001.  I had access to lots of wallpaper and plenty of ideas for imaginary still lifes which came together into a small series of mostly large-scale, abstract artworks like Interior I. Interior I features various patterns and textures to achieve its composition.  The subject is abstract. The piece features a custom-built frame created by me the same year.
