Soccer 4v4 with Animal Characters

The ANIMAL characters on these coaching bands are sure to engage the youngest soccer players!  Playing a role as an animal will get them into character as you introduce the concepts of playing positions.  BACK: the PROTECTIVE BLACK BEAR guards the goal introducing the concept of fullback, defender, sweeper and/or stopper RIGHT WING: the SOARING EAGLE attacks the goal in the offensive right half and snatches the ball in the defensive right half as the right wing / mid LEFT WING: the STEATHY OWL sneaks a shot into the net or swoops back to steal the ball from the other team as the left wing / mid STRIKER: the ATTACKING TIGER pounces on the ball in the offensive half as the striker or forward Each Wrist Coach identifies the designated position with an enlarged full animal image and a yellow highlighted box showing the area of the field their position should own and share with their teammates.  The other positions are indicated by a smaller head of their respective animals for conte
