  View this post on Instagram A post shared by Victoria Mays (@definingmynow) Lucy is inspired by my mother, who as an immigrant came to America with nothing to her name; but with great faith and tenacity coupled with her business mindset she has been able to create opportunities for herself.  Growing up I watched her create and build businesses through hard work and determination, showing me what a strong woman is, and that we don’t have to be a victim to our circumstance.  As a single mother of four with a significant language barrier, it was her late nights and long days that made the way to give us a fighting chance.  As a mother now, I recognize the sacrifice she made for us.  I have a lot of respect for single moms who take on even more roles and try to keep life balanced for their children.  Life has been unfair at times for my mom, and yet her love and faith in God has given her an optimism and joyful outlook on life in the midst of adversi
