American Cherry and Baltic Birch 24" x 24" Hardwood Cradled Substrate

Picture your next project atop this one-of-a-kind gorgeous 24 x 24” American Cherry and Baltic Birch wooden cradled substrate.   Each side of this cradle is a mix of deep brownish red heartwood and creamy white sap wood and boasts very unique grain patterns.  A stunning combination only Mother Nature could make!    This hand crafted, individually numbered Hardwood substrate (SAS15) arrives to you ready to go out of the box.  This cradle has been pre-sealed top, bottom and sides, next 4 coats of white hard-sandable gesso were applied to the sealed birch top and sanded between coats.  This step creates a hard flat surface to create on.  Lastly, four coats of Marine grade varnish (which helps with UV protection) were applied.  The only step you need to do is tape off the Cherry sides with high quality painter tape and you are ready to create.   This is such a new and exciting way to showcase your next finer art project, resin project or whatever you can dream up!
