Black Walnut and Baltic Birch 24" x 24" Hardwood Cradled Substrate

You will not find this anywhere else! Elevate your next project to an entirely new level with this one-of-a-kind gorgeous 24" x 24" Black Walnut and Baltic Birch hardwood cradled substrate. You will love how the stunning color shifts between light brown, rich chocolate brown with super dark brown streaks.  This meticulously handcrafted, individually numbered substrate (SAS17) arrives to you ready to go out of the box.  This cradle has been pre-sealed top, bottom and sides.  Next 4 coats of white hard-sandable gesso were applied to the sealed birch top, hand sanded between coats. This step creates a hard flat surface to create on.  Lastly, four coats of Marine grade varnish (which helps with UV protection) were applied to seal, protect and finish the wood. All you need to do is tape off the Black Walnut sides with high quality painter tape and you are ready to create.
