247 Lures Needlefish Slow Sink 9"

247 Lures has always been a big fan of Needlefish plugs! This Needlefish was designed at 9″ long and weight between 2.25-2.5oz to be big enough to satisfy those die-hard, Needle-loving Surfcasters. Just like the 7″ Needlefish, this 9″ Needlefish is designed and weighted to sink more slowly than most competitors’ lures – perfect for those shallow boulder fields. The lure body is also weighted to sink while in a horizontal position, presenting an excellent profile to fish even as you let it sink. Cast it out, let it sink to your desired depth, and retrieve slowly. Give it a twitch occasionally, which will flash the underbelly sideways at the fish. As of January 2024, all our Needlefish lures - including this 9” model - are being rigged standard with one treble hook on the belly swivel and a custom tied FLAG on the tail loop (no hook on the rear).
