The Swigzy car cup holder adapter is designed for 2.8"-3.85" diameter bottles and cups. The long base version comes with a 1" spacer installed to make the base 1" longer than the original. An extra 1" spacer is also included to add an additional 1" to the length of the base. It is also possible to have no spacers installed so that the base is the same length as the original version.  The long base version was created specifically for vehicles with recessed (deep) cup holders and vehicles with trim/padding surrounding the cup holder. The longer base allows the adapter to fit more securely than the original version.  Please refer to the photos showing the base measurements to determine which version will work best with your vehicle.
