The Boker Barlow Expedition Folding Knife is a lightweight slip joint pocket knife that makes an excellent everyday carry, able to handle almost any cutting job easily. The handles of this piece are contoured, and made of olive green canvas Micarta. The bolsters and liners are matte blasted brass, giving the Barlow Expedition a color contrast reminiscent of long ago exploration and discovery expeditions. The satin finished slip joint blade of the Barlow Expedition Knife is made of ice-hardened 440C steel with 60 HRC and is opened by a nail nick. The 90-degree stop when opening and closing the blade increases its safety. The name Barlow is thought to have originated with the knife producer in Sheffield who began exporting this knife to North America around 1800, and is the origin of the characteristic Barlow teardrop shape. Engraving: Up to 6 characters can be engraved on the blade of the Boker Barlow Expedition knife. Features of the Boker Barlow Expedition Knife: Hand
