The Boker Barlow Integral Copper Folding Knife has a teardrop-shaped blade which hearkens back to 17th-century English pocketknives. The name Barlow is thought to have originated with the knife producer in Sheffield who began exporting this knife to North America around 1800, and the Barlow is one of the oldest models made. This integral version of the classic Barlow has copper handles and bolsters which are milled from the solid. The handle scales are crafted from certified imported desert iron in a warm brown that compliments the copper's glow beautifully The satin-finished blade of this knife is made of ice-hardened N690 steel, and is opened by nail nick. The operating safety of this slip joint pocket knife is increased by a 90 degree arrestor when opening and closing the blade.
