Plant Description: A Canadian variety that has proven itself a heavy producer of large, sweet and flavorful fruit. Saanichton ripens somewhat earlier than Hayward and being a bit more hardy, Saanichton is a good choice for cooler regions. Size: 8-10 ft. in width on trellis, arbor or other support. Watering needs: regular, can tolerate dry summers once established Sun needs: half day sun Pollination needs: Requires a male fuzzy kiwi plant to pollinate.
