Olive 'Seascape' (Olea europea)

Plant Description: An olive from the Nikita Botanic Garden in Yalta, Ukraine, Seascape Olive Tree ™ has been under evaluation in our region for a few years and has shown that it does grow well here. Seascape Olive Tree ™ produces large, tasty fruit, good for making delicious green or black olives. Hardy to 10 degrees Fahrenheit. Planting more than one is recommended for pollination. Olive trees are wind pollinated and should be planted no more than 20 ft apart for best results.  Height:  8-10 ft Watering Needs: moderate; drought tolerant once established Sun Needs: Full sun Soil Needs: Well-draining Bloom Time: May Ripening Time: October-November Bearing Age: 2-3 years after planting
