Willy Blanc is a true bon vivant. Ever congenial and hospitable, he is the proprietor of one of the best wine shops in Savoie, which he uses as a forum to advocate for the region’s top growers. He also tends 5 hectares of vines in the Savoie cru of Aprémont, situated below the impressive north face of Mont Granier. Here he works by hand to carefully cultivate the region’s traditional grape varieties, with a special focus on the white grape Jacquére. The 'Willy' is very small production with under 500 cases produced. The vines have an average age of 80 years old and persist on a single parcel at high elevations. Fermented in stainless steel and aged on the lees for a full year prior to bottling. This bottle provides notes of white peach, nectarine, lemon zest, lime juice and a gravelly minerality.
