Domaine de Piaugier Sablet Rose

Although Domaine de Piaugier is best known for their elegant reds, they also make this fabulous rose from a blend of organic red grapes grown in the sandy soils surrounding their home base village of Sablet. The wine is a little plumper and fruitier than a typical Provencal pink but still delightfully fresh, bright, dry and delicious. Layers of strawberry, peach and melon are nicely offset by notes of fresh herbs, wild flowers and a hint of spice. Pair with a classic shrimp boil, BBQ chicken or strawberry/spinach salad.
