Recoltant Cabernet Sauvignon

A new wine that a lot of folks are talking about, Récoltant is an expression of a single grape from a small region manifested through the hands of great farmers and an incredible winemaker. It is approachable for everyone who loves wine. Made by the talented Julien Fayard, who trained under Philippe Melka, it's a stellar value in super fine and expressive Napa Cab. Deeply colored, nearly opaque, it offers up classy notes of dark cherry, cassis, leather, cocoa, and cigar box on the nose. The palate is rich and luxurious with ripe tannin and a texture usually reserved for much more expensive wines. Long on the finish, this is a wonderful new addition to the shop.
