Description We are big fans of Elaine Kaufman Feiner and were pretty excited when we saw this little gem because it is so different than the other large oils on canvas we have in our collection.  She was an extremely versatile artist.  During this stage of her career, she was experimenting with a new medium (oil crayon), abstracted shapes, and bold colors.   Details Elaine Kaufman Feiner (American, 1922-2018) Untitled  Oil crayon on paper Initialed in lower right hand corner 19" x 22" (overall) 10" x 13 1/2" (sight) Newly framed under plexiglass About the Artist Elaine Kaufman Feiner was born in 1922 in New York City and studied at the New York School of Fine Arts and Washington University's School of Fine Arts.  After her move to Connecticut with her husband and two children, she became active in the Silvermine Guild of Art in New Canaan and a regular contributor to the local and regional art scene.  She became known for her use of color, and the renowned Hungarian-American pain
