Soldarini Hydropsyche Tournament Rod

The Hydropsyche Tournament rod by Sandro Soldarini of Italy is one of the more interesting and highest performing rods on the market today. The Hydropsyche Tournament is medium-fast by euro rod standards, nice and light in hand, responsive and exhibits minimal tip bounce. Soldarini spared no expense in designing this rod, it's replete with all the bells and whistles you can reasonably expect from a high-end rod these days. This has become one of Devin's favorite competition rods since he began using it in the 2024 season.  Notes: The new XUL tip rods come with both a standard tubular tip and the additional XUL solid carbon tip. The solid carbon tips cast light rigs with ease and increase tactile sensitivity. The 10' 7-8 weight rod is light for how powerful it is.
