We use extra thick premium hides, processed with 100% traditional vegetal tanning. Unlike other tanneries, our leather is Aniline processed, which makes the leather dyed all the way through, which impacts the durability of the item and allows us to get what is called Aniline finished leather. It gives the leather a natural look and helps to ensure a long life. Since the leathers we use to make are thick enough, padding is not needed. Nickel-plated solid brass buckles
