Papua New Guinea is known for it mountainous terrain and rich volcanic soil. The Simbai region borders the Western Highlands and much of it is only reachable by foot or aircraft. This coffee is one that is sourced from around 4,000 different farmers in the region using small planes to transport the coffee.
