20th Century Italian Parlor Kaleidoscope

Antique Parlor Kaleidoscope on a turned wooden stand. Visual effect attained via series of blown glass pieces of various shapes and colors. Glass bits are housed in the rotating cylinder affixed to the scope, opposite the fixed eyepiece.  Italian made. Circa 1910. Unsigned/Unmarked. Fully functional- produces stunning kaleidoscopic effects via loose glass. Unique fleur-de-les embellished knobs allow for height adjustment and setting. Weight:  2.5 lbs.
