Panoramic flight over the fjords. The trip starts with departure from Eid and we direct the course eastwards.We set course into the Gloppefjorden and ascend towards the Jostedalsbreen. We then drive into Oldendalen and see the enormous scale of the glacier. The Jostedal glacier is Europe's largest mainland glacier; 500-600 meters at its thickest, and approx. 800+ square kilometers if you count the surrounding glaciers.We continue south in Oldendalen and turn towards Briksdalsbreen, which is one of the better-known glacier arms. Weather permitting, we cross the glacier and get a view of the highest mountain in the region; Lodalskåpa, as well as the famous and jagged mountain area Hurrungane.
