The leaves of this black tea are full, with whole leaves and little breakage. The result is a smooth, soft texture and light flavors, making this tea an easy drinker. The tea is harvested by hand, withered, and then rolled before being allowed to oxidize. The flavor profile is a sweet, velvety take on classic black tea - malty and full, but with a slightly creamy texture and notes of chocolate and fragrant wood.
