Hand thrown from colored porcelain, the saturated color comes from the clay itself, not a glaze. Interiors have a clear liner glaze, but exteriors are left unglazed for a velvety matte finish. Weighing around four pounds, these are sturdy and stable vessels that resist tipping when filled with flora. The vase exteriors are treated with coconut oil. Cleaning with plain water is recommended. If soap or cleanser is used and the coating is stripped, a simple re-application of oil with a lint-free cloth will restore the soft sheen, if desired.
