2022 Ornament

The 2022 Texas Tech University ornament features the Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine in Amarillo, Texas. The academic headquarters for the school is called the Amarillo Campus. The state-of-the-art 185,000-square-foot two-story building consists of two wings. The east wing includes classrooms, student support services, breakout rooms, and faculty and staff offices. The west wing includes teaching laboratories on the ground floor and research laboratories on the second floor. The two wings are connected by a majestic lobby that serves as the entry to the building, as well as a gathering and event space for those at the school. Located two miles northwest of the Amarillo Campus is Mariposa Station which is designed for hands-on instruction with all large animals. The historic ribbon cutting was celebrated on April 22, 2022, with hundreds in attendance.
