Outstanding antique French gilt bronze figural wax seal, desk stamp, in the form of a majestic eagle. Superb quality and expertly modeled with detailed realism. The casted solid bronze figure is fully dimensional and finely detailed. Signed A. Marionnet and stamped FRANCE. The matrix bearing a monogram, appears to be interlaced initials MP or PM. Measures 3 ½” tall. In overall good condition with general wear commensurate with age and use.
