Alloy Grey Ventile Cotton FOUNDATION COAT

A coat like a concrete column.  The Foundation is inspired by the simple but refined beauty of Brutalist architecture. Carved out of Ventile L27, a waterproof cotton fabric, the Foundation provides a safe haven from the harsh world outside.  A columnar collar keeps the wearer protected from the elements, but can also be worn down or totally open.  Magnetically sealed pockets are positioned by the wearer's hands for easy access, while inside are large zippered pockets big enough for a magazine or tablet, with smaller organizing pockets inside to store headphones, a phone, or passport.  At the base is a zippered vent: keep it closed for increased warmth and protection, open it for ventilation and mobility.  The coat is cut to fit over our jackets and overshirts, providing a balance between mobility and a flattering, elegant silhouette.  In Ventile the Foundation features a seamless yoke for increased protection from rain.   **shown in Alloy (Grey) **SAMPLE piece currently in our store si
