Description of Work: Medium and Materials Used: Lamp shades, plant stand, candle holder, Christmas ornament, Christmas lights, buttons, plastic light packaging tube, chain pullsOther: epoxy, putty, spray paint Dimensions: 12 x 12 x 12 Artist Statement: I’ve had the plant stand for 30 years (50 cents at a yard sale!) but never had a use for it. Plants never fit. So when I found 2 matching ceiling lamp shades, I got an idea for a space ship for the Outer Limits theme. I’m not good at titles so I added a crown to my “alien” and The Queen of Outer Space was born!
