WINEMAKING NOTES: From variegated sandstone soils with some limestone, loess and clay. Carefully fermented and aged in stainless steel on the lees and bottled without any fining or other technical measures. 2.7 g/l RS. Certified organic, and is an active ambassador of both natural, sustainable viticulture. FUN FACT: It was a Von Buhl Riesling wine that was used to toast the opening of the Suez Canal in 1869. PAIRS WELL WITH: Oysters, ceviche, sushi, sashimi, grilled white fish, roasted chicken, pork chops, citrus salad, lemon tart, and apple strudel.
