Rostratus Sand Diver
General Information Rostratus Sand Divers are a unique species of African Cichlid that originated from Lake Malawi in Eastern African. These cichlids are known for their unique color pattern that is a beautiful blue and silver color. Juvenile and female Rostratus Sand Divers do not have much color but some silver and black patterns. Rostratus Sand Divers are also one of the largest African Cichlid species as they will grow to be about 16" in length. Like most other African Cichlids, Rostratus Sand Divers are mouth brooders. While some consider Rostratus Sand Divers to be less aggressive than most African Cichlids, they should still only be kept with other African Cichlids to help reduce some aggression towards other fish.
