Pu’er Flower Dragon Pearl - Raw Pu’er

These are raw Pu'er flower dragon pearls from Yunnan. Unlike ripe and fermented Pu’er, which has a more earthy taste, raw Pu’er has a vibrant and fresh aroma. Each dragon pearl also has a flower added that are not only appealing to the eye, but have beneficial medicinal properties. Each dragon pearl weighs about 8g and brews at least 5-6 cups of tea. Note that this will include a variety of different flower pearls. While ripe Pu’er tea has higher levels of caffeine (similar to black tea), aged raw Pu’er has very low levels of caffeine and higher levels of GABA, an important amino acid for relaxation and mental health. Thus, aged raw Pu’er will afford a much more relaxing and grounding drinking experience than ripe Pu’er.
