Perfect for a bridal updo, the intricately woven twist-wire top of this circa 1875 Victorian hair comb is designed as a row of heart shaped love-knots, crafted in yellow gold-fill. With its two smooth slender prongs, aka a French hair pin, it's perfect to secure either a messy bun or accent a formal chignon. Details: Measuring approximately 4 3/4" long by 1 5/8" wide across the decorative top. Condition: In excellent condition with a light patina and some slight wear to the finish.
