Authentic Learning in the Classroom

Course Description: This course is designed to motivate educators in creating a learning environment that is engaging, experience based, and empowering. Educators will learn about the importance of everyone in the classroom taking educational risks; especially the teacher. Through this class, the participant will better understand the importance of having a student driven learning environment, classify characteristics of Generation Z, create a resource of online tools and websites to use to enhance student learning, and rethink their role in the classroom.
