100% Pure US Grown Oolong Tea. This tea is named after the 13 Moon (lunar calendar) of Native Americans. We found a turtle while plucking the tea and thought it was a great way to educate people about native culture. Flavor profile: This tea is a roasted dark Oolong. It has a lightly roasted aroma reminiscent of milk chocolate and a roasted pistachio taste with a buttery finish. What is Oolong tea? Oolong tea uses a mature leaf and is partially oxidized. The level on Oxidation will impact the flavor notes making it different than a black of green tea. It will still have all the goodness of a regular tea as it is harvested from the same Camelia Sinensis tea plant. Oolong are often described as the fine wines of the tea world.
