Carbon Offset

The Light Phone II uses around 61kg of carbon dioxide from production to end of life. 
Carbon offsetting is completely optional. A phone's carbon footprint is just one aspect of the social and environmental impacts of using a device, of course, but at least we can do something about that now. Light matches all user offsets with the users, 50/50. We pay $100 per metric ton for our carbon offset. That's about 20x the current cost of offsets, and a more ethical dollar amount of the true cost of these emissions.
