Pink Morning is a Martagon hybrid, with mauve-pink flowers, white edge, liberally speckled with dark pink/red spots. Downward-facing turkscap flowers have firm waxy texture. Good naturalizer in light woodland conditions. Very heavy bloomer, upto 50 blossoms per stalk. Lush whorled foliage (layered). Early bloomer (June). Will tolerate part shade. Prefers slightly alkaline soil, regular watering, good drainage. Like other Martagons, this one may not emerge until the second year, especially if planted late. 16-18 cm bulb size.
