Beginner Knitting Class

Beginner Knitting Class Ready to learn knit? Join Becky as they walk you through all the fun of knitting your very own hat!! You will learn a cast on, Knit and purl stitches, and at the end, decreases to form the crown of your hat. Materials needed: 1 skein of worsted weight yarn. We recommend Germantown or Malabrigo Rios.  1 pair of US 8 or 5mm circular needles 16inch in length. Can be metal or wood, your preference Materials are not included in the class but you can purchase before the class or bring your own if you have these in your stash. Cost: $55 CLASS REGISTRATION & CANCELLATION1. If you would prefer to sign-up over the phone, call The Modern Skein at 936-436-3615 with credit card pay for a spot. 2. There is a $5 cancellation fee. A 5-day notice is required for cancellation without additional penalty. Cancellations made within 5 days of a class are subject to a 50% class charge.
