These pants are made from highly-dense taffeta using recycled polyester. They were processed in Arimatsu, Aichi Prefecture, a production area for traditional Shibori tie-dying. The design incorporates three-dimensional protrusions through application of the Kumo Shibori process in which parts of the fabric are tied by hand. The pants can be rolled up and compactly carried in the included drawstring pouch made from the same material.
