This hooded jacket is made from highly-dense taffeta using recycled polyester. It was processed in Arimatsu, Aichi Prefecture, a production area for traditional Shibori tie-dying. The design of the hem and collar incorporates three-dimensional protrusions through application of the Kumo Shibori process in which parts of the fabric are tied by hand. The jacket can be rolled up and compactly carried in the included drawstring pouch made from the same material.
