They eat aquatic invertebrates, especially brine shrimp and brine flies, and occasionally small fish, mollusks, or amphibians. As soon as they see something, they dive into the water creating perfect circles.When you see them swimming, their back feathers are fluffy, and their golden feathers are on their eyes. But when they dive, they collapse those feathers. I think they do this to be able to move faster underwater. I noticed it
