Davos Parsenn Suisse Skier
There is nothing quite as thrilling as being airborne; and this striking late '60s posters captures that exact moment. A skier flies from a jump, suspended in air above the Swiss Alps. The serenity of the scene - notice that there are no other skiers visible - highlight Davos as the perfect escape for any ski enthusiast. Parsenn is the largest of the five mountains that make up the Davos region of Swtizerland, and it is known as the birthplace of Swiss skiing. Parsenn was discovered as a prime ski location in 1895 by four lost British adventure seekers. It is home to the oldest downhill ski race in Switzerland, as well as one of the longest ski runs in all of Europe. This is an original vintage poster, not a reproduction. This poster is in excellent condition, and has been archivally backed onto linen. We fully guarantee the authenticity of our items.
