During the period of WWII, the United States Government mounted a War Effort Mobilization Campaign to encourage people in the home front to get out and contribute more to the war effort in many ways. One of which was to get a war job and aid in increasing domestic production to fill the void for those workers who had joined the armed forces. Many poster were issued as a part of this campaign.
