This 1942 U.S.A propaganda poster by John Vickery warns the factory workers on the home front to be mindful of their work. Production was a major theme in WWII posters, which emphasized work safety, efficiency, and focus. This poster takes a more serious tone warning about the consequences of shoddy craftsmanship on the home front. John Vickery (1906-1983) was an Australian artist who immigrated to the United States in 1936. As an artist, Vickery produced painting and illustration for both advertising and fine art.
