This post-WWII poster marks the promotion of traveling after the chaotic period during the World War ll. This warm colored poster was created to attract people to Peru via Panagra Air. . With a climate that ranges from desert dry to tropical lush to extreme cold (in the Andes region), Peru offers a broad range of diversity between its sea level elevation, Pacific beaches, and the 22,204 foot top of its highest mountain, Nevado Huascaran. Carlos Ruano-Llopis (1879-1950) is a Spanish painter known for his design of this famous poster. In the poster, the vigorous bull is sprinting toward the bullfighter, who stands elegantly and confidently raising the red muleta. The action of the bull and the movement of the cloth are so fast and powerful that the peripheral of the image becomes blurry. Pan American-Grace Airways, also known as Panagra, and dubbed "The World's Friendliest Airline" was an airline formed as a joint venture between Pan American World Airways and Grace Shipping Company.
