
2 Oz Art Fiber FABULOUSNESS! Recycled Sari Silk Fiber
This is my favorite fiber to play with creating color schemes. Sari silk is unbelievably gorgeous in the way it takes dyes. I order the ribbon skeins which crafters use in weaving, jewelry making and a myriad of other creative venues. When I clean the stringy ends, the goodness of these lighter-than-air piles of BLING are just breathtaking. I photographed a small portion and included the tape measure to give an idea of just how much a half ounce is and you get 2 oz. Because this weighs practically nothing, two ounces probably contains thousands, if not tens of thousands of yards or more! Pairing these colors together offers countless combinations, all wonderful. If you're more an earthy person, there are chocolate browns from light to dark. Greens from bright lime to the deepest Moss or Forest Floor.
