Bordeaux is not a true red or true magenta, but somewhere in the middle. It's more of a rose, wine or maroon color, reflecting pinks and wine colors. A fun and fantastic embellishment fiber, adding depth, dimension, visible "texture" as well as bling. You'll frequently see it mixed in with yarn, felting, art batts and the like. For spinning or making art batts (or roulags), just a few fibers do a lot! Blended with other fibers in amounts as small as 2%, it gives sparkle and highlight to your projects, whether it's yarn, batts or felt.
