Authentic handmade Jemez Pueblo red pot with a carved and painted design. Signed by Aaron Cajero.  Aaron Cajero is a contemporary Native American potter from the Fire Clan of Jemez Pueblo.  He began working with clay in 1993 and learned much of the traditional techniques of pottery making from his family. Cajero uses local clay and sand with the traditional snake coil method of building his pots.
