  WHY THIS WATCH MATTERS Probably the rarest watch ever made by Movado, the Cronoplan was created and patented in the early 1930s with the idea to be used by drivers and pilots to measure long periods of time. With an ingenious idea which consists of two concentric bi-directional rotatable bezels surrounding the crystal. The outer bezel is used to calibrate the minutes, the red dot of the inner bezel is placed above the hour hand, and the other red dot of the outer bezel is above the minute hand. At the end of the recording, the elapsed time can be read directly from the numbers indicated by the two hands.  Any Cronoplan is by itself considered rare, but among them, there are rarer configurations, one being a center seconds (most of them have a sub-seconds at six), and the most noticeable detail is the raised Breguet numerals which have become very coveted in recent years.   CONDITION This watch is in good and honest condition, considering its age.
