Such is the case with this grail for many collectors, the Movado reference 19008, also known as 565.  The case resembles the mythical Patek Philippe 565, which is why this piece has earned its nickname. Crafted by the master casemaker who worked on Patek Philippe's iconic 1463 and featuring the distinctive round pushers known as "Tasti Tondi," this piece is a marvel of design. The tropical dial reveals the watch's 80-year history, yet it remains exceptionally beautiful. It features rare Breguet numerals, a Pulsations dial, and an even rarer center Snail Shell telemeter. The stainless steel case is made by François Borgel, the finest case maker of the last century. Borgel was born in 1856.
