WHY IS THIS WATCH IMPORTANT Cartier introduced the Tank in 1917. The design was inspired by the Renault FT-17 tanks. The Tank Louis are some of the most coveted variants of the Tank line, this one being in 18Kr solid yellow gold in great condition.    CONDITION This watch is in overall very nice condition, the case seems to have been polished sometime in the past, there are very small hairlines on the case. The dial and hands are in great condition with some minor aging and patina normal for a watch of this age. The watch has been recently serviced and keeps good time for a watch of its age.
