From the rugged, high-altitude desert of Cafayate in northwest Argentina comes this bright, floral white made by dos minas—Argentine slang for “two chicks”—Lucía Romero and Heather Willens. Lucía runs Bodega El Porvenir, and Heather brought her California wine knowledge to Buenos Aires; together, they’re on a mission to show the world just how good Argentinian Torrontés can be. This bottling comes from 65-year-old vines at Finca El Retiro, hand-harvested and treated to a short carbonic maceration before cold fermentation.
